Purchasing Specialist

  • Purchase orders issuing for local and foreign material
  • Handling day to day activities of the procurement department
  • Follow up with vendors in aspects of deliveries, payment, and quality issues if any.
  • Procurement, sourcing, and contracting of materials, supplies, spare parts, equipment, and services.
  • Contact suppliers in order to schedule and expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other related problems.
  • Process, verify, maintain, and review computerized or manual records of items purchased, costs, deliveries, product performance, and inventories.
  • Prepare, maintain, and review purchasing files, reports, and price lists.

Bachelor's degree in commerce/engineering.Very good command of English LanguageVery good user of Microsoft office2-5 years of experience in industrial purchasingAbility to operate with manual and automated systems (ERP).Having an Engineering background is a plusPurchasing certificates or related studies is a plus.
