Senior Wet Utilities Design Engineer

Water Consult is seeking a talented Senior Wet Utilities Design Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will get to perform duties such as preparing concepts and preliminary and detailed designs together with tender and contract documents.

duties:

·       Perform design/analysis calculations related to wet utilities such as potable water Distribution networks, sewage collection networks, water irrigation, and stormwater networks using governing engineering formulas, skills, and experience.

·       General Arrangements, Layouts, plans & profiles.

·       Research and prepare design options and documents.

·       Review shop drawings.

·       Extract engineering information from CAD drawings.

·       Prepares engineering computations, material quantity takeoffs, estimates, surveys, and designs

·       Review supplier drawing submittals and perform technical bid analyses.

·       Prepares and issues specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents.

·       Provides technical guidance to CAD Designers, Drafters, and lower level Engineers working on the same project.

Skills:

·       Degree in Civil Engineering from Major University.

·       Minimum 12 Years of postgraduate experience in infrastructure engineering design particularly water and wastewater networks with progressively increasing responsibility.

·       At least 5 years as a Design Engineer with some responsibility for supervision of design resources.

·       Previous experience in SewerGems, WaterGems, InfoSWMM, and similar hydraulic design software.

·       Previous experience in ArcGIS (ESRI) is preferable.

·       Extensive and knowledgeable computer skills (AutoCAD).

·       Good spoken and written English is essential. 

·       Must have KSA experience.
