Senior Freight and Transport Services Sales Specialist/ Account Managers

Responsible for effectively carrying out the sales strategies and campaigns devised by the sales manager, understanding client needs and selling company services to clients based on their needs, and providing the best advice and support to clients in designated area and according to overall company sales strategy, direction and values to ensure strong market presence and profitability for company. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Proactively identify prospective customers (sales leads) using every possible source including but not limited to online and offline business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferences, and then target them through cold-calling and visits to promote and sell company services and enhance brand recognition
  • Develop close relationships with customers to effectively understand customer expectations relative to operational solutions, timeline, costs and results, negotiate profitable win-win solutions with them and monitor their payment of fees.
  • Be present for customers by readily answering phone and e-mail inquiries in n a timely, efficient and professional manner to ensure high responsiveness to customers and the continued loyalty and growth in number and value of key accounts.
  • Ensure sales techniques, plan for business and pipeline development are in alignment with company strategies and values.
  • Work closely with other internal departments to ensure a seamless and positive customer experience and that customers are constantly fully informed, updated and satisfied
  • Keep abreast of and report competitor activity in the market and new market trends to area sales manager and head sales manager and actively participate in the development of new services and solutions to ensure continued company competitiveness
