- Negotiating & purchasing of packing material for both local and international suppliers in close co-ordination with the Head of Supply Chain.
- Analyzing consumer buying patterns and predicting future trends.
- Attending trade fairs, to select and assemble new database of suppliers and study market trends.
- Meeting suppliers and negotiating terms of contracts to get best paying plans.
- Maintaining relationships with existing suppliers and sourcing new suppliers for future products.
- Ensure contracts are in place for all suppliers of all goods inclusive of terms and condition, payment terms and delivery schedules in accordance with the requirements
- Development of new suppliers to ensure there are at least (3) alternate sources of supply for each item.
- Source materials to reduce the cost without affecting the quality in conjunction with the budget.
- Monthly monitoring of costs to ensure they are controlled and within budget.
