- Identifies the spare parts needs, ensuring optimal level of spare parts holdings and reviewing that all spare parts received are according to requirements, thus maintaining high operational efficiency of the plant and contributing to the continuous flow of production
- Reviews and evaluates all activities of the mechanical maintenance function, including activities from contractors, providing analytical reporting of actions, results, and cost, as well as assessing the efficiency of all members following the performance appraisal system
