Job Description: 

• We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Tax and General Accountant to join our team at Wealth Advisory. 
• As a key member of our accounting department, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in tax preparation, financial reporting, and audit support.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and other entities.
• Perform general accounting tasks including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Support senior staff in audit engagements by preparing workpapers and assisting in fieldwork procedures.
• Conduct research on tax laws, regulations, and accounting principles to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency within the accounting department.
• Assist with special projects and ad hoc assignments as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and tax concepts.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• CPA candidate or willingness to pursue CPA certification is a plus.
