Join us today and experience #Life At Visa The Director of Marketing for Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Oman is the senior most marketing role based out of Riyadh. This leader will be responsible for developing marketing strategies, objectives, and programs for Visa in partnership with Clients to support the achievement of our combined business and marketing objectives. This individual will be responsible for all aspects of Marketing including development and implementation of plans and programs with Clients, from their presentation, selling Ideas, implementation and delivery on stated goals. The work conducted will be across Financial Institutions who issue Visa credentials, Merchant Sellers who receive payments for their goods and services from Visa credentials, Fintech partners who enable the growth of the payment ecosystem, and Government stakeholders and entities who strive to advance economic inclusion. This is a unique role: you’ll need problem-solving expertise, excellent communication skills and executive presence, and a strong desire to drive improvement in how marketing drives the business. Essential Functions Client Marketing Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans for Visa's activities in conjunction with Account Executives and all key external and internal stakeholders. Identify marketing opportunities with multiple audiences to develop co-marketing strategies with Visa clients to drive increased business. Participate in sales pitch presentations and develop marketing plans to support new business deals. Utilize data, analytics and insights to measure marketing effectiveness and drive decision making. Conduct analyses and research needed to support annual strategic planning or marketing plans development. Build and enhance partnerships across the organization including Sales, Product, Merchant Solutions, Finance, and Legal to ensure effective implementation of marketing strategies and plans, driving to usage, issuance and/or brand preference, in alignment with country strategies and business objectives. Oversee all aspects of marketing plans, including promotions, events, marketing communications, sponsorships partnerships, digital marketing, and sales support. Identify continuous actionable consumer insights and opportunities via consumer understanding programs and tools, trends, and data analysis. Reimagine the use of Visa’s key sponsorships and assets including Concerts, Events, FIFA Partnership, NFL Partnership, Transportation Partnerships, the Olympic Games Partnership, Disney and others. Lead media and creative Agency management including brief, Statements of Work and Agency Budget Management. Work with limited direction, usually within a complex and often ambiguous environment, to drive rigorous, fact based recommendations to Clients, other executive, functional, or regional management while supporting syndication with stakeholders across the organization. Be innovative and curious, always looking for ways to do things better while driving success and sharing it, as well as learning from sharing failures. Inspire, coordinate, and motivate local agency partners to deliver best in class marketing programs. Ensure compliance to Visa processes, key controls and brand standards. Be accountable for managing marketing budget and reporting. This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs. Superior analytic and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytic rigor, attention to detail and ability to structure and analyze financial models Strong process orientation. Able to create processes from scratch and able to identify and drive continuous improvements A relationship-builder who earns the trust and rapport of partners at multiple levels Team-oriented and collaborative, driven and resourceful, innovative and curious, positive and proactive – always looking for ways to do things better Extensive experience in brand management and cross-border initiatives in the digital or payments industry, preferably within the GCC region. Proven track record in developing and implementing client marketing programs. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or other advanced degree would be a plus. Fluency in Arabic is preferred, given the region. Visa is an EEO Employer.
