Multinational Company working in Egypt seeking for Operation & Maintenance Director for Wind Power Generation in Red sea. -

Area of Responsibilities:-

During Mobilization Phase:-

• Recruit operation & maintenance staff.
• Develop and implement the staff training plan.
• Establish operation & maintenance procedures.
• Review operation & maintenance Manuals submitted by TSA and CWESA contractors.
• Review operation & maintenance aspects (Operability and maintainability of the TSA and CWSEA.
• Select and procure operation & maintenance tools, spare parts and Maintenance Management System.
• Fit out of the operation & maintenance building and offices
• Assist with plant commissioning start- up and testing.

During Operation Phase:-

• Manage and oversee all elements of operation and maintenance of the Wind Farm.
• Enforce a very high level of Health, Safety, security and Environment performance for Wind Wind Power Generation Farm Staff and contactors at site.
• Responsible to manage and ensure continuous training of GWE's operation & maintenance staff.
• Manage and control LTSA contract.
• Coordinate and control all interfaces with EETC, the grid operator.
• Ensure that all contractual obligations towards the Egyptian authorities and towards EETC (According to the PPA, Network Connection Agreement and Usufruct Agreement) are respected.
• Provide reporting on operational performance, production and deemed  capacity.
• Represent company towards local stakeholders and sustain good relationships with the local community.
• Ensure operational excellence, maximize availability & production and optimize company profit while protecting the long -term value of the asset.
• Prepare, establish and execute annual and preventive maintenance schedule for the electrical substation and the civil works (roads).
• Perform corrective maintenance when required.
• Procure spare parts and consumables.
• Manage subcontractors.
• Ensure preparedness and manage site emergencies, issue incident &crisis reports.
• Prepare operation & maintenance budget and medium terms plans.

Reporting line:-

• The operation & maintenance Director shall ally be nominated by RGWE Board of Directors and is reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer .

Job specifications:-

 Education

• BSc. Degree Elect. Eng.
• MBA or People Management training is a plus.
• Have relevant HSE qualification to enable RGWE delivery requirements.

Language

• Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
• Good Knowledge of Arab (verbal and written).

Other requirements

• Gender : Male
• Age : from 40 to 50 years

Experience

• Extensive experience (minimum 10 years) in operation and maintenance of power plants.
• Direct experience of power generation technologies, preferably Wind Turbine or electric Substations.
• Experience in IPP projects and knowledge of PPA frameworks.
• Minimum of 5 years in a senior managerial position.

Location
