Authorities: The Production Manager will be reporting to the Operations Manager with an overall responsibility for all Production activities of the plant. The Production Supervisor together with all production staff (Lead Operators and Operators) will be reporting to him. Duties and Responsibilities:-He will be responsible for the daily production and organization of the plant, with the assistance of the Production Supervisor and the collaboration of the Maintenance Team and the Laboratory staff:-At receipt of raw materials, he defines the sampling plan and the processing conditions for all lots to be treated, in conjunction with the Sales Dept. as to meet the requirements/specifications of the customers.-He prepares the production planning in close coordination with the Sales Dept. and is responsible for the timely execution of such planning.-He verifies the quality of all treated products and optimizes the operation of all processing units.-He verifies the good mechanical and electrical order of all equipment at all times and coordinates maintenance works with the Maintenance team.-He controls all material balances at the end of a production campaign and prepares reports at the end of each campaign.-He calculates all operating costs, and more generally provides company management with any production cost information.-He coordinates with the HSE specialist to ensure the safety and health of the employees and meet the RC EPCD/EPO standards for environment.-He will continuously study ways to improve the processes, the equipment's, the methods, the safety means, the operating costs:-He will have a key role, in close cooperation with the General Manager/Operations Manager, in the implementation of new projects: from the choice of the processes to the commissioning of the new units, writing of all operating manuals and staff training. Requirements-University degree in Chemical Engineering.-Experience as Production Manager or similar role.-Experience in using diverse types of manufacturing machinery and tools.-MS Office-Organizational and leadership abilities.-English Communication and people skills.-Initiative-taking with a results-driven approach.-Critical thinking skills.
