- Assist the Retail Area Manager in planning and implementing strategies to attract customers
- Coordinate daily customer service operations (e.g. sales processes, orders and payments)
- Make important policy, planning, and strategy decisions.
- Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing.
- Work with the board of directors to determine values and mission, and plan for short and long-term goals.
- Track the progress of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual objectives
- Monitor and maintain store inventory
- Support worker communication with the management team
- Monitor retail operating costs, budgets and resources
- Evaluate employee performance and identify hiring and training needs
- Supervise and motivate staff to perform their best
- Coach and support new and existing Sales Associates
- Suggest sales training programs and techniques
- Analyze consumer behavior and adjust product positioning
- Handle complaints from customers
- Research emerging products and use information to update the store’s merchandise
- Create reports, analyze and interpret retail data, like revenues, expenses and competition
- Conduct regular audits to ensure the store is functionable and presentable
Proven experience as a Retail Operation manager or similar position5 Minimum 3 years of Previous experience in food retail with managerial position is a must.Understanding of general finance and budgeting, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash-flow management.Good math skills with the ability to create and analyze reports, spreadsheets and sales statisticsProficient user of MS Office (MS Excel in particular)Leadership and organizational abilitiesInterpersonal and communication skillsProblem-solving attitudeFlexibility to work in shiftsBSc/BA in Business Administration or relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus
