We are looking for a skilled Painter to join our creative team, specializing in painting sculptures and toys. The successful candidate will have experience in painting on various surfaces, with a keen eye for detail and color accuracy. The Painter will be responsible for the final visual appeal of our products, ensuring each piece meets our high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply paint, varnishes, and other finishes to sculptures and toys, following specific color schemes and design patterns.
- Prepare surfaces for painting, which may include sanding, sealing, and priming, to ensure paint adheres properly and the surface is smooth.
- Mix paints to create the desired colors and finishes, matching specified color palettes accurately.
- Apply protective coatings to finished items to preserve the paintwork and ensure durability.
- Work closely with the design and sculpting teams to understand the artistic vision and requirements for each piece.
- Conduct quality control checks on completed items to ensure the painting meets design specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the proper storage of paints, brushes, and other materials.
- Stay updated with the latest techniques and materials in painting and finishing, incorporating best practices into your work.
Required Skills and Qualifications:Proven experience as a painter, with a portfolio showcasing painted sculptures and toys.Strong understanding of color theory, painting techniques, and material properties.Ability to work with a variety of paints and finishes, including acrylics, oils, and varnishes.Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.Ability to follow complex instructions and accurately replicate design specifications.Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.Preferred Qualifications:Formal training in fine arts, painting, or a related field.Experience with airbrushing and other advanced painting techniques.Knowledge of safety standards and procedures for handling paints and solvents.
