Purpose of the JobCoptic Orphans is seeking a full time Field Coordinator in Al Badari ( Sahel Seleem & EL Badari & West Assuit and Assuit city) to assist in overseeing program implementation and the work of the Volunteer Representatives in fulfillment of the organization's stated goals and policies.Essential Functions And ResponsibilitiesImplement and deliver Coptic Orphans established programs within the agreed budget and in light of the relevant policies and plansDetermine eligibility of the nominated volunteer representativesReview and determine the eligibility of children cases submitted by the representativesConduct volunteer representative orientationsReview and audit expense reports submitted by volunteer representativesPrepare and submit the assigned area's monthly report to the Area ManagerMonitor field implementation by conducting regular home visitsProvide ongoing support and feedback to volunteer representativesAssist in planning, conducting and arranging for workshops/meetings with representatives, children and mothersMaintain effective communication with the Area Manager and Cairo and Washington DC officesAttend staff meeting in Cairo office. Attend, and prepare for the representatives meetings (semi-annual, local and combined meetings) in the assigned areaResponsible for logistics management, which includes the preparation and planning of sponsors' visits to their childrenPrepare and submit trip reports, expenses reports and other required documentsFollow up with the administrative staff on requests for letters, pictures, and family reports needed for sponsorsPerform other relevant duties and tasks as assigned by the direct managerRequired Education, Experience, Knowledge And SkillsBachelor degreeFluent in Arabic with good English skillsExperience with Microsoft office, internet and emailOne year of experience in the nonprofit field or international development is preferred.Able to assess social situations and act tactfully and responsiblyAble to administer available resources to reach the program's goalsStress-resilient to cope with complex conditionsSelf-starter, motivated and team playerMust have the children's interest at heartExperience working with the Coptic community is preferredExcellent communication and time management skillsGood presentation and training skills are preferredTravel And Working RequirementsTravel may reach up to 80% of the timeWorking out of the official hours and on weekends may be requiredJob Posted by ApplicantPro
