Job PurposeThe purpose of this position is to maintain the telecommunication system. As multiservice network, Radio System, Light Current Systems in Telephone, Intercom, CCTV, Fire Detection, Public Address, Clock, Passenger Information System (Dynamic Display), Voice Recording.You will be required to perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot malfunctioning systems, repair or replace parts, and conduct safety tests. The objective is to maintain the Telecom asset and equipment in the operational and best condition deployed along the stations, tunnels and two workshops of Cairo Metro Line3.Responsibilities/DutiesProfil de candidat recherché : Ensuring the maintenance tools & equipment are in good condition. Assisting the telecom supervisors in carrying out all level of preventive and corrective maintenance activities and minor modifications in all sites of Cairo Metro Line 3 like stations. Overseeing the preventive maintenance of Telecom Equipment. Close supervision and leadership of subcontractors to ensure that they are following the PM plan without failures. Immediate responding to equipment failures and system malfunctions. Performing line corrective maintenance to release failures on equipment in station and back office in the shortest possible time to ensure good operation of the equipment and the system. Installing and testing Telecom systems. Carrying out safety checks. Maintaining stock and ordering supplies. Maintaining a clean working area. Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Health and Safety Act. Ensuring all environmental and safety rules are respected and alert Executive Maintenance of any environmental and safety issue. Undertaking any other duties as assigned. Accurate reporting to the management regarding the executed tasks and activities.QualificationsESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE High school diploma or equivalent; relevant Electronical, Telecom certification. Proven experience as maintenance technician Advanced knowledge of Telecom (Light Current – Wireless - Networking) systems, Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Ability to troubleshoot Telecom malfunctions. Physically fit and able to handle tasks in time. Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices. Ability to work independently.Knowledge General technical knowledge Railway knowledge (preferred)Experience Minimum 5-years work experience as a qualified, electronical, Telecom technician in maintaining and repairing Telecom equipment is highly preferable.DESIRED BEHAVIORS English - fluent in speaking, reading and Arabic is a must. Must have good eyesight and normal color vision. Strong mind, and ability to grasp the complexity of inner workings of Telecom. Ability to use and calibrate various electronic, and Telecom test equipment and PC for the maintenance of depot equipment. Ability to write simple technical reports, routine business correspondence, prepare method statements and drawings as required. Possess good communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work productively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, and the ability to handle multiple priorities; Flexibility on time and night shift
