Our commitment to excellence and innovation sets us apart in the industry, and we are seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to join our team and oversee the engineering and maintenance operations of our newest property.

As the Chief Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the operation and maintenance of all mechanical, electrical, and structural systems within the hotel. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in engineering management, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. 

Engineering Management: Lead and supervise the engineering team, including technicians and maintenance staff, to ensure efficient operation, timely repairs, and preventive maintenance of all equipment and systems.Facility Maintenance: Oversee the upkeep and maintenance of the hotel's facilities to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with regulatory standards.Equipment Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems, conducting regular inspections and repairs to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency.Budget and Resource Management: Manage departmental budgets, procurement of supplies and spare parts, and vendor contracts to optimize cost-effectiveness and resource allocation while maintaining quality and reliability.Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, conducting risk assessments, implementing safety protocols, and maintaining accurate records to safeguard guests, employees, and assets.Energy Management: Identify opportunities for energy conservation and sustainability initiatives.Emergency Response: Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures, providing leadership and support during crises or disruptions to maintain business continuity and guest satisfaction.Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to engineering staff on best practices, technical skills, and safety protocols.Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; Professional Engineering license preferred.Proven track record of 15-20 years in engineering management roles, preferably in the hospitality industry.Extensive knowledge of building systems, codes, and regulations, with hands-on experience in maintenance and repair.Strong leadership abilities, with excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and other relevant software applications.Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Commitment to upholding the company's values of integrity, excellence, and guest satisfaction.
