About the job Sr. Legal Counsel
JOB SUMMARY:
Support company's legal affairs and provide expert, strategic legal advice, clarifications, and opinions to the management so that the organization's interests are well protected and protect the organization from legal risk.
Provide support to the General Counsel - Egypt in executing key tasks and delivering functional objectives.
- Manage and review legal issues pertaining to company including contentious construction matters.
- Analyze and advise on the threats and merits of disputes and potential court and arbitration proceedings.
- Manage external counsel representing company before courts, arbitration tribunals and other dispute resolution forums in all pending claims.
- Review litigation and investigation reports to ensure that they are prepared timely and accurately in accordance with internal policy, and in compliance with legal and regulatory obligations.
- Determine appropriate defense, prevention and strategic measures to resolve dispute and defend company's legal position.
