Duty Manager

  • Implement and follow-up medical care delivery plans daily in line with the hospital service provision standards.
  • Follow-up on all activities and procedures provided to patients, receiving complaints, working on solving them, and ensuring their consistency with quality management policies and rules, and medical laws and rules in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
  • Submit daily reports to the medical director contained (complaints or violations) in the hospital, along with the measures taken to resolve them.
  • Follow-up of the hospital's medical unit managers to ensure continuous and effective communication with patients, their families or those who care for them to ensure the correct delivery of medical information and to solve problems before they occur.
  • Follow-up the procedures for entering patients to ensure that the different needs of the patient and the exit procedures or exit requests are met as requested, and to ensure their compliance with the provisions and procedures of the law and the Ministry of Health.
  • Follow-up on the presence of the registrars and consultants on work shifts approved by the medical director and take the necessary disciplinary measures in case of violation, while notifying the medical director.
  • Carry out daily visits to cases and following up on reports of unit heads on cases of deaths and morbidity, while making follow-up reports on those cases.
  • Follow-up on the registrars’ fulfillment of medical records and reports for patients, taking appropriate disciplinary measures in case of violation, and notifying the medical director.
  • Participate in setting policies and objectives for medical departments in the hospital. 
  • Communicate with the pre-approval Department to follow-up on the approval of the referred cases in inpatient department.

Education: • Bachelor’s degree in medicine. • Master’s degree (surgery or medicine) post graduate studies in hospital management. • MBA or postgraduate degree is preferred Experience and Skills: • 10+ years of experience in which at least 3+ years at Management level, in a complex, fast moving environment within the medical/healthcare sector. • Profit-orientated. • Fluent in both Arabic and English. • Customer focused, with strong emphasis on quality
