- Execute financial and accounting procedures approved by senior management.
- Supervise incoming and outgoing documents in the accounting department, ensuring accuracy and necessary signatures.
- Review accounting books and documents required for the implementation of the approved accounting system, ensuring legal registration and proper storage after completion within the legal period.
- Supervise the preparation of journal vouchers and approve them before registering them in the accounting books.
- Review the preparation of monthly reconciliations.
- Supervise the registration of journal vouchers in the books and their transfer.
- Participate in the periodic and annual inventory process for materials and fixed assets, reconciling them with their respective accounts.
- Supervise the preparation of monthly bank reconciliation statements, highlight any differences (if any), inform the financial manager, and prepare the necessary adjusting entries.
- Supervise the registration of transactions in accounts payable and issue payment orders on time.
- Prepare adjusting entries at the end of the financial period based on the financial manager's instructions.
- Prepare review balances for detailed and general accounts at the end of each month and ensure the accuracy of the balances in each.
- Report any violations of financial policy or financial procedures applied by different departments or any deviations appearing in the periodic financial statements.
- Provide all necessary information and clarifications required by other departments.
- Prepare official statements in a timely manner for submission to management.
