• Act as a ‘bridge’ between main functions and all shared functions (Finance, IT, Recruitment, L&D, etc).
• Responsible for employee retention & and satisfaction strategies
• Assist in administering benefits, compensation, and employee performance programs.
• Suggest new procedures and policies to continually improve the efficiency of the HR department and organization as a whole, and to improve the employee experience.
• Ensure legal compliance with HR state and labor regulations and applicable employment laws, and update policies and/or procedures as required.
• Prepare needed reports (Weekly & monthly)
• Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form.
• Facilitate a culture of open and honest two-way communication, ensuring key messages are cascaded to all team members, encouraging feedback and sharing of ideas and best practices.
• Maintain an environment that embraces Waffarha values and culture, and reinforces the spirit of teamwork, people commitment, and loyalty.
• Undertake formal semester focus groups with all team members to gather feedback.
• Follow-up on focus groups action with shared functions ensuring a high action completion rate.
• Be involved in performance improvement plans ensuring support actions and expectations are clear.
• Participate in the creation of project-specific training plans, by collaborating with function head.
• Provide support during any professional conflict.
• Participate in the organization of events (team building, events, etc.)
• Support the execution of all HR transactions and administration, such as payroll processing, benefits administration, regulatory compliance, and onboarding and offboarding, promotions, and reclassification
• Maintain regular HRIS input by collecting relevant employee lifecycle information, such as personal data, contract terms, and benefits and compensation details
• Troubleshoot workforce issues concerning employees and management to ensure positive employee relations
• Support recruitment by participating in job ad posting, applicants’ filtration, candidate selection, and interviewing.
• Contribute to onboarding and offboarding efforts—create frameworks for educational sessions for new hires and feedback and exit interviews for terminated employees
• Verify the accuracy and completeness of all personnel data, including NDAs, compensation, and employment contracts
• Formulating and implementing policies on departmental workflow


• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or a related area.• Proven work experience in any of the HR functions, OD & performance management specifically.• Hands-on experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)• Solid understanding of labor.• Familiarity with full cycle recruiting• HR Certificate is a plus. • Advanced level of English (at least B2), both verbal and written. • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
