Responsibilities

Proofread translated texts for grammar, spelling and punctuation accuracy. Cross-reference specialized dictionaries and translation tools to check quality of translation. Prepare subtitles for videos and online presentations. Ensure translated content conveys original meaning and tone. Follow up with internal team members and clients to ensure translation meets their needs. Edit content with an eye toward maintaining its original format (e.g. font and structure). Network with field experts to stay current on new translation tools and practices.

Requirements

Must be bilingual and bi-literate (in English and the student’s native language). Proficiency in Arabic is a must. Have ability to understand and effectively carry out oral and written instructions. Be able to read and write. Have the ability to understand, and effectively carry out oral and written instructions. Demonstrate an interest in learning Customs and Supply Chain domain. Experience in working on a Project in a group setting. Ability to work well with Government officials, Software development team, Functional Team and other staff with courtesy, tact, and good judgment along with having good stakeholder service skills. Be of good character, neat in personal appearance, dependable, reliable, prompt, and flexible and have pleasing manners and personality. * Ability to cooperate with Project Team members and willingness to take directions from senior team members
